Job summary

Halvik Corp seeks an Automated Software Tester to build and modernize test automation within a C#/.NET and Azure DevOps ecosystem. You will migrate legacy Selenium suites to Playwright (.NET), develop reusable automation utilities, and integrate tests into CI/CD for FHWA Office of Policy applications (TMAS, HPMS, PIDP, ITIP).

The role requires 7+ years IT experience with 5+ years in software development or test automation, and strong skills in UI automation, API testing, and SQL validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in software development, applications programming, or test automation.
• 5+ years of hands-on C#/.NET automation development.
• 3+ years of UI automation using Playwright (.NET) and Selenium WebDriver.
• 3+ years writing SQL queries for MS SQL Server or Oracle to verify data integrity.
• 2+ years of Agile SDLC experience.
• Experience with JSON/XML and automated API testing using Playwright REST context, RestSharp, or HttpClient.
• Proficient debugging using browser DevTools and logging clear bug reports in ADO.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks in C#/.NET.
• Participate in SDLC in an Agile environment; refine acceptance criteria and DoD.
• Design reusable automation tools and testing subsystems for scalability.
• Execute automated functional, integration, regression, and cross-browser tests; post-deployment smoke tests.
• Migrate legacy Selenium test codebases to Playwright (.NET).
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and publish reports.
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and stakeholders to map requirements to test cases.
• Create comprehensive test documentation and verification guides.
