Job summary

IntelliBee is seeking a .Net Technical Lead/Programmer in Mechanicsville, VA to lead modernisation of legacy databases into microservice-aligned schemas. You will drive SQL engineering, participate in architecture reviews, and guide a cross-functional team including .NET, SQL, BA, QA, DevOps, and Cloud specialists.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, code reviews, and collaboration to ensure compliant, efficient delivery within agile workflows.

Qualifications

10+ years of IT experience preferred.
7+ years of SQL Server development experience.
5+ years of .NET/C# backend development experience.
3+ years of technical lead experience guiding engineering teams.
3+ years of modernization or migration project experience.
3+ years of experience with Azure SQL on IaaS VM environments.
3+ years of experience building ADF pipelines and ETL workloads.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design discussions for microservices and database restructuring.
Provide hands-on SQL engineering including schema modernization, stored procedures, views, indexing, and performance tuning.
Support .NET API development and data access patterns.
Mentor senior engineers and drive technical leadership.
Coordinate with PM/Scrum Master and SME for project execution.
Develop migration logic and data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
