Job summary

Matco Tools, a subsidiary of Vontier Corporation, is seeking an experienced software leader to develop, enhance, and maintain web applications built on .NET and modern frontend frameworks. You will guide cross-functional teams, review designs, and ensure timely delivery of features.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and mentorship within a hybrid environment, with focus on quality and architectural excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in web application development.
• Experience with .NET Core, C#, React, MVC, Javascript, WebAPI, SQL Server or similar.
• Experience in code, architectural, and functional reviews.
• Experience in CI/CD and Azure DevOps implementation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain web-based applications using Angular/React and .NET.
• Coordinate with client product owners and technical leadership on requirements.
• Create technical solutions and present to client leadership.
• Lead and coordinate software development activities.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team.
• Conduct code reviews and low-level design reviews.
• Deliver enhancements and features on schedule.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure quality products.
• Scope project requirements, timelines, resources, and risks.
• Lead cross-functional project implementations and mentor others.
