Job summary

Matco Tools, a Vontier Corporation subsidiary, is seeking an experienced software leader to develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using .NET Core, C#, React, and SQL Server. You will direct development efforts, perform design reviews, and coordinate with clients and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role requires at least 8 years in web app development, strong CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in web application development.
• Experience with .NET Core, C#, React, MVC, Javascript, WebAPI, SQL Server or similar database.
• Experience in code reviews, architectural reviews, and functional reviews.
• Experience in providing estimates for major enhancements and projects.
• Experience deploying .NET builds, IIS.
• Experience with microservices and Azure cloud services.
• Expertise in CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication and documentation skills.
• Strong relationship-building abilities; detail-oriented and organized; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain web-based applications based on Angular/React and .NET frameworks.
• Coordinate with client product owners and leadership to understand requirements.
• Lead and coordinate software development activities and provide technical leadership.
• Conduct code reviews and low-level design reviews with developers; perform feature coding.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure quality; meet delivery dates for projects and tasks.
• Scope project requirements, timelines, resources, and risk; lead cross-functional implementations.
• Provide mentoring to other developers and external consultants.
