Job summary

The Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA) is seeking an experienced Mobile/Web Developer for our Tysons (McLean), Virginia office. You will gather requirements, design and build mobile/web applications, and integrate with enterprise data policies while collaborating with architects, analysts, and developers.

You will ensure alignment with technology standards, assist with complex problem resolution, and contribute to ALPA's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Applications, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience; more is preferred.
• Expertise with .NET MAUI, Blazor, Sitecore, DNN, Coveo, Visual Studio .Net, ASP.Net, C#, Java, SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft .Net Framework.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• CMS, advanced JavaScript libraries/frameworks, preprocessing platforms, version control, cross-browser compatibility, RESTful Services and APIs a plus.
• Experience with automation and web performance tools a plus.
• Knowledge of image editing tools for minor adjustments.
• Understanding of asynchronous requests, AJAX.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Self-starter with professional maturity and independent decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Gather user requirements, perform systems design and analysis, and develop mobile and web applications.
• Collaborate with Architects, Developers, Data Analysts, and other technology specialists.
• Ensure adherence to technical architecture standards and assist with problem resolution.
• Define the vision for ALPA's data store and translate reporting requirements into physical databases.
• Travel locally, nationally (5–10%).
