Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer to design, build, test, and deploy cloud-based applications. You will work with C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern architectures, using AI tools daily to accelerate development while maintaining quality and security.

Remote opportunities are available to eligible US-based candidates. The role emphasizes performance, scalability, and collaboration within cross-functional teams, with infrastructure and microservices as core focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• 5+ years’ development experience.
• Proficient with C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• 3+ years’ experience with Azure or AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience developing and deploying IaC.
• Deep understanding of domain and event driven design.
• Knowledge of modern architecture patterns.
• Understanding of design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Experience writing and automating unit tests and integration tests.
• Daily hands-on use of AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot as a primary part of your workflow.
• Demonstrated fluency in AI-assisted workflows — prompting effectively, reviewing and correcting AI-generated code, and knowing when not to rely on it.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications, micro-services, and infrastructure for the the company platform.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Use AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot as your day-to-day toolset, and help the team get more out of them without compromising code quality or security.
• Analyze and optimize applications for efficiency and performance.
• Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high-quality work on a tight schedule.
