Aquent is partnering with a leading financial services institution to transform the way high-volume, secure financial transactions are delivered using modern .NET, event-driven architectures and AI-assisted workflows.

The role focuses on building scalable services, advancing cloud-native platforms, and mentoring peers while applying GenAI-powered development practices to improve quality and delivery speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable .NET/cloud/web services.
• Experience designing event-driven apps using .NET and Kafka; knowledge of distributed systems, stream processing, cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on with IBM MQ, Kafka, Splunk, JSON/XML, caching, performance profiling, Twelve-Factor App, observability.
• 4+ years building cloud-native apps with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
• Experience with PCF, AWS, or GCP deployments and various databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with AI/ML in production and with GenAI coding assistants across SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and implementation of scalable, event-driven .NET services in a cloud-native environment.
• Build and modernize high-volume APIs and distributed workflows for reliable financial transactions.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and developers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Leverage Generative AI coding assistants to accelerate coding, testing, reviews, scripting, and documentation.
