Aquent Talent is seeking a skilled .NET engineer to join a high-volume, cloud-native financial tech platform in Austin. You will design and implement scalable, event-driven services using .NET and Kafka, ensuring reliability for billions of transactions.

You will collaborate with architects and product teams, leverage GenAI tools to accelerate delivery, and advance modernization initiatives across distributed systems and data stores.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Eng, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software engineering for .NET/cloud/web services handling high-volume transactions.
• Hands-on with .NET, Kafka, distributed systems, cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with IBM MQ, Kafka, Splunk, JSON/XML, caching and observability.
• 4+ years building cloud-native apps using GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, event-driven apps using .NET, Kafka and cloud-native patterns.
• Modernize high-volume services and APIs for billions of daily transactions.
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Leverage GenAI coding assistants to accelerate implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Apply AI-assisted development practices to boost productivity and quality.
