Job summary

NetImpact Strategies is seeking a senior .NET Developer to own and advance a large-scale, cloud-native enterprise application in AWS GovCloud. You will lead design and implementation of microservices, RESTful APIs, and data access using PostgreSQL, while mentoring teammates and ensuring security and reliability.

The role requires hands-on coding, production troubleshooting, and collaboration with operations and tech leads to maintain high availability and performance for a mission-critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level C# and .NET Core development experience.
• RESTful APIs and microservices design, AWS GovCloud experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production, Rancher management.
• RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, PostgreSQL on AWS RDS, AI-assisted dev tools.
• Code reviews, mentorship, secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, maintenance and continuous improvement of a large-scale production application.
• Own the codebase and define technical direction with the Technical Lead.
• Develop microservices and RESTful APIs with C#/.NET 10/.NET Core.
• Support cloud-native apps in AWS GovCloud and ensure high availability.
• Build and optimize data access with PostgreSQL on RDS; troubleshoot performance.
• Develop containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes (Rancher).
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools and validate AI-generated code.
• Perform code reviews, mentor developers, and enforce best practices.
• Monitor production health, resolve incidents, and participate in deployments.
