Job summary

NetImpact Strategies Inc. is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to lead design, development, and maintenance of a high-availability enterprise app in AWS GovCloud.

This hands-on role requires strong ownership, technical leadership, and collaboration with leads, operations, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions within a cloud-native microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will drive REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes (Rancher), and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level C#, .NET Core, and modern .NET experience.
• RESTful APIs and microservices architectural design.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud and cloud-native apps.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Rancher management experience.
• Experience with RabbitMQ and AWS SQS.
• PostgreSQL on AWS RDS or equivalent.
• Understanding of distributed systems, high availability, and security.
• Ability to own substantial codebases and mentor others.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and static analysis like SonarQube.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, maintenance, and improvement of a large-scale production app.
• Define technical direction with the Technical Lead and set standards.
• Develop microservices and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET 10/11.
• Support cloud-native apps in AWS GovCloud and ensure scalability.
• Build and optimize data access with PostgreSQL on AWS RDS.
• Develop with Docker and Kubernetes, including Rancher management.
• Integrate ML capabilities and AI tools within the architecture.
• Review code, mentor developers, and ensure quality and security
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.
• Participate in Agile planning, design reviews, and CI/CD efforts.
