Job summary

NetImpact Strategies Inc. seeks a Senior .NET Developer to lead and own a cloud-native, enterprise-scale application in AWS GovCloud.

You will work across microservices, REST APIs, and data access with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and SQS, coordinating with operations and tech leads to deliver secure, scalable software. The role combines hands-on coding with architectural guidance, including AI-assisted tooling, code reviews, and mentoring in a high-availability environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in professional software development for enterprise-scale apps.
• Expert-level C#, .NET Core, and modern .NET (8/9/10) experience.
• RESTful APIs and microservices design in production.
• Experience in AWS GovCloud or AWS environments with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong PostgreSQL development, performance tuning, and RDS usage.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tooling is a plus.
• Ability to own a large codebase and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain a large-scale production app.
• Own the codebase and set technical direction with the Lead Engineer.
• Build microservices and REST APIs in C#/.NET 10 stack.
• Deploy cloud-native apps in AWS GovCloud and manage data access in PostgreSQL.
• Develop with Docker/Kubernetes (Rancher) and support CI/CD via ADO.
• Support AI-assisted development and review AI-generated code.
• Mentor teammates, perform code reviews, and improve engineering standards.
• Ensure security, observability, and high availability across services.
