Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Engineer to deliver high-quality web applications, dashboards, and backend integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile setting to build modern UIs and robust data integrations, while embedding AI features into our platform ecosystem.

The role requires 5+ years of full stack experience, strong frontend and backend skills, and hands-on DevOps with cloud platforms. Knowledge of healthcare data and HIPAA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack software development experience.
• ~3+ years with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts).
• ~3+ years of backend development and API design (REST, GraphQL).
• ~ Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases, ORMs and complex data objects.
• ~ Hands-on with DevOps: CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), Docker and cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• ~ Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LLMs).
• ~ Familiarity with healthcare data, HIPAA compliance.
• ~ Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality web applications, dashboards, and backend integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, product and DevOps teams in an agile environment.
• Build modern user interfaces and connect frontend with backend services and data models.
• Embed AI capabilities into the application ecosystem and APIs.
• Troubleshoot full-stack, database, and integration issues across systems.
• Design APIs and data models; optimize performance and security.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments across environments.
