Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Engineer to deliver high-quality web apps, dashboards, and backend integrations. You will collaborate across engineering, data, product, and DevOps in a fast-paced, agile setting to build modern UIs and embed AI features into a robust application ecosystem.

You will work with Node.js, Python, Java, or C# on backend services, and modern frontend frameworks with data visualization libraries to deliver interactive dashboards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full stack software development experience.
• ~3+ years with modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and data visualization libraries (D3.js/Chart.js/Recharts).
• ~3+ years of backend development (Node.js/Python/Java/C#) and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• ~ Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases and ORMs.
• ~ Hands-on DevOps with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), Docker, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• ~ Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic) into features.
• ~ Troubleshooting full stack apps, databases, and integrations.
• ~ YAML configurations and automation scripting (Python/Shell/PowerShell).
• ~ Cloud/hybrid environment troubleshooting, real-time data streaming exposure.
• ~ HIPAA familiarity and healthcare data awareness.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality web applications, dashboards, and backend integration services.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, product, and DevOps teams in an agile environment.
• Embed AI capabilities into our application ecosystem.
• Build modern user interfaces and integrate backend systems with complex data objects.
• Support cloud and hybrid environments and diagnose issues across stacks.
