Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Engineer to deliver high-quality web apps, dashboards, and backend integrations. You will collaborate across engineering, data, product, and DevOps teams to build modern UIs and connect backend systems with complex data objects, embedding AI capabilities throughout the platform.

You will bring 5+ years of full stack experience, strong frontend and backend skills, DevOps practices, and a track record of integrating AI APIs, while ensuring secure, scalable solutions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full stack software development experience.
• ~3+ years with modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and data visualization libraries (D3.js/Chart.js/Recharts).
• ~3+ years backend development (Node.js/Python/Java/C#) and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL DBs, ORMs, and complex data objects.
• Hands-on DevOps: CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), Docker, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LLMs) into features.
• Troubleshooting full stack apps, databases, and integrations.
• YAML configurations and scripting (Python/Shell/PowerShell).
• Experience with cloud/hybrid environments and connectivity issues.
• Exposure to real-time data streaming and healthcare data familiarity (HIPAA).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
