Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer in Medicare Technology to lead design and delivery of enterprise-scale solutions. You will influence technical direction, mentor teammates, and collaborate across business and technology teams to improve member experiences and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years work experience.
• Expertise designing, developing, and supporting enterprise web apps using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience building modern web apps with Blazor and front-end tech.
• Full-stack development including services, APIs, databases, and UI.
• Advanced SQL Server skills: data modeling, tuning, stored procedures.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Cloud integration with Azure/AWS/GCP.
• CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong security, testing, monitoring, and patterns knowledge.
• Leadership in design reviews and mentoring developers.
• Agile/Scrum collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with CoPilot and MCP servers for workflows.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements digital solutions; architect and code software; test and debug.
• Design and implement scalable solutions meeting requirements and quality standards.
• Contribute to solution design discussions with architects and engineers.
• Provide input on performance, feasibility, and scalability.
