Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join the Medicare Technology group. You’ll design, develop, and deliver enterprise‑scale healthcare solutions, focusing on modern full‑stack development, cloud‑native architectures, and secure coding practices.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver measurable business value across Medicare technology platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience in enterprise web applications.
• Expertise in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise web applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience building modern web applications using Blazor and related front‑end technologies.
• Expertise in full‑stack development, including services, APIs, databases, and UI.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SQL, including data modeling and performance tuning.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience integrating apps with cloud providers (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps with GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, secure coding, testing, and monitoring.
• Experience leading design discussions, code reviews, and mentoring teams.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and drive improvements.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
