Job summary

RS H is seeking an experienced NEPA Transportation Project Manager to lead environmental planning and compliance for transportation infrastructure projects. Offices in the Carolinas region are preferred, including Charlotte, Columbia, Raleigh, Charleston, and Asheville.

The role combines project management, client leadership, and technical expertise to advance roadway, bridge, transit, and multimodal projects through federal, state, and local environmental review processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related field.
• 7+ years in NEPA compliance, environmental planning, or transportation delivery.
• PE and/or AICP certification.
• Proficient in ArcGIS and project management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation projects through all phases of environmental review and project delivery.
• Develop and oversee project scopes, schedules, budgets, and quality management programs.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of planners, environmental scientists, engineers, and technical specialists.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance and professional development support.
• Support proposal development and strategic pursuits.
