Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Negotiation Lead in Corporate Strategic Procurement in the United States. You will shape and execute high-stakes negotiation strategies, acting as the go-to expert for complex negotiations, and guiding both hands-on and strategic efforts to optimize supplier agreements.

You will lead negotiations with key suppliers, build a global negotiation competence hub, coach others, and drive digital innovation across the organization to improve end-to-end processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in high-stakes negotiations in corporate procurement or sales.
• Deep understanding of negotiation principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Outstanding communication skills and internal networking ability.
• Ability to coach colleagues across different seniority levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with commodity managers to develop and implement negotiation strategies.
• Lead negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Establish a negotiation competence hub for a global blue‑chip company.
• Define targets and outcomes for negotiations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align strategies with procurement objectives.
• Provide guidance and training on negotiation best practices.
• Ensure feedback from negotiations informs corporate procurement strategies.
• Champion digital innovation to transform negotiation processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve end-to-end negotiation lifecycle.
• Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in negotiation mindset.
