Altasciences in Columbia, MO is seeking a Senior Necropsy Technician to perform complex necropsy procedures, tissue collection, and data documentation in GLP-compliant studies. You will coordinate study readiness, train junior staff, and maintain specimen quality across the pathology workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; lab or necropsy experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences preferred.
• Experience following study protocols and GLP requirements.
• Proficiency with record-keeping and data entry in EDCS.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform necropsies and tissue collection per SOPs.
• Review protocols and assist in pre-necropsy planning.
• Coordinate study setup, supplies, and workspace readiness.
• Record and verify study data in EDCS, resolve discrepancies.
• Train technicians on SOPs, procedures, and documentation.
