Job summary

ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) invites applications for a Senior NDE Level II Quality Inspector at Kennedy Space Center, FL. You will perform critical NDT and quality inspections on Orion spacecraft hardware and generate documentation reflecting results and disposition.

Qualifications include 3+ years in NDT/Quality Inspection, NAS410 Level II/III in multiple methods, and IRRSP/40-hour CR/DR training. Expect onsite work, potential relocation assistance, and teamwork with engineering groups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with specialized technical training equivalent to an associate degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant NDT/Quality Inspection experience.
• NAS410 (or equivalent) Level II or III certification in three or more methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform nondestructive testing (NDT) and quality inspections on Orion spacecraft hardware.
• Interpret inspection results and prepare reports documenting acceptance, rejection, and evaluation findings.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to ensure products meet requirements.
• Review and approve inspection records for compliance with standards and procedures.
• Investigate nonconforming materials and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support MRB activities by providing inspection results and disposition recommendations.
• Work independently and in a fast-paced ATLO environment, including off-shift scheduling as needed.
