Job summary

Relativity Space's NDE Team is seeking a qualified inspector with UT Level II/III certification to establish and execute feasibility studies, PODs, and qualification plans for aerospace hardware. You will develop part-specific UT inspection techniques and evaluate data for quality against acceptance criteria in a highly regulated environment.

Successful candidates must clear a US government background check for on-site work at Cape Canaveral, FL.

Qualifications

• Current Level II or III UT certification in aerospace or nuclear settings.
• NDE classroom training certificates and NAS 410 / SNT-TC-1A credentials.
• Total NDE experience of 5+ years; 3+ in regulated aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering work instructions/drawings.
• Experience creating Part Specific Techniques for UT/UT-based inspections.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish feasible Ultrasonic inspection techniques for a range of complex hardware.
• Work with UT Specialists to execute feasibility studies, PODs, and qualification plans.
• Evaluate digital UT/PAUT data for quality and acceptance criteria.
• Develop part-specific NDE techniques for diverse components.
• Apply relevant NDE inspection plans and procedures in practice.
