Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking an NDE Inspector to join the NDE Team. You will perform ET/ECA inspections, help develop feasibility studies, and publish techniques for complex parts at our Cape Canaveral site.

You will collaborate with ET Specialists and Engineers, review data for quality, and interface with vendors. Must hold NDE Level II in Eddy Current and NAS 410/SNT-TC-1A certifications, and be open to 10–25% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering work instructions and drawings.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office familiarity (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Open to travel 10%–25%.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with ET Specialist inspectors and NDE Engineers to develop feasibility studies and qualification plans.
• Perform ET/ECA NDE inspections using novel techniques.
• Evaluate digital ET/ECA data files for quality and accept/reject criteria.
• Document eddy current analysis results with detailed reporting.
• Interface with outside stakeholders regarding inspection results and future possibilities.
• Develop and publish part-specific NDE techniques for complex parts.
• Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
• Apply NDE inspection plans, procedures, and techniques.
