Job summary

RTX is seeking an NC programmer in Middletown, CT to support programming projects for multiple machine tools and controls. You will own programs from development through production, providing essential shop support during the entire cycle.

Requirements include a BS in engineering or related field, 8+ years in manufacturing engineering, and experience with graphic programming, UGNX and Vericut. Master’s degree with 5+ years can be considered; onsite role with second shift options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering (experience may substitute education).
• Master’s degree or higher with 5+ years of related experience can be considered.
• Experience with graphic programming, part modeling and program simulation software including UGNX and Vericut.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new programming software, code and analytical tools.
• Strong technical, communication, interpersonal, time management, presentation and organizational skills.
• Experience with Rotating Hardware, Airfoils and CI projects preferred.

• Plan, create, develop and implement programs and related processes.
• Own programs through production implementation and provide shop support during the development cycle.
