Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, CT seeks an experienced NC programming engineer to support programming projects and take ownership of programs through production. The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing engineering and proficiency with UGNX and Vericut.

Qualifications

  • Experience with graphic programming, part modeling and program simulation software, including UGNX and Vericut.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new programming software, code and analytical tools.
  • Strong technical, communication, interpersonal, time management, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Rotating Hardware, Airfoils and continuous improvement projects preferred.

What You Will Do:

  • The NC programming position requires ability to support programming projects utilizing various machine tools, controls and programming software.
  • Candidate must have demonstrated experience with planning, creating, developing and implementing the programs and associated processes.
  • Candidate will own programs through implementation into production and provided necessary shop support through the development and production cycle.

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Years of experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Candidates with a Master's degree or higher education, with 5+ years of related experience can also be considered.

  • Candidate must have ability to learn and adapt to new programming software, code and analytical tools.

This position is classified as:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
