Job summary

Montcure, LLC is hiring a Senior Manager to lead budget formulation, budget execution analytics, and financial reconciliation for a U.S. Navy/DoD financial management organization.

You will provide deep subject-matter expertise on budget data quality, reconciliations across PBIS, Navy ERP, Advana/Jupiter, and DDRS, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial information. You will interact with Government leaders at the GS-15 and SES levels, setting technical direction, standards, and audit

Qualifications

• 15+ years of government financial management experience with DoD/Navy
• Experience supporting IPA audits and audit remediation
• Ability to brief senior Government leaders (GS-15/SES) on complex budget and accounting matters
• Leadership of multidisciplinary analyst teams and deliverables readiness for government review

Responsibilities

• Serve as the budget formulation/execution data analytics lead and principal advisor on financial data quality and reconciliation
• Plan and direct end-to-end reconciliations and analytics for budgets
• Develop dashboards/reports tracking reconciliation status and data quality metrics
• Prepare data populations for internal and IPA audit walkthroughs and respond to PBC requests
• Lead root cause analysis of data issues and approve corrective actions
• Oversee data discrepancies in PBIS, Advana/Jupiter; standardize data and reconcile results
• Analyze material variances and aging of transactions; propose corrective actions
• Create standardized reconciliation templates, desk guides, and SOPs; set quality standards
• Ensure activities align with FASAB and DoD financial regulations within government windows
