Job summary

Montcure, LLC is seeking a Financial Management Audit Support Manager to lead audit support workstreams for a U.S. Navy/DoD financial management organization.

You will guide teams through IPA substantive testing, manage populations, KSDs, reconciliations, and data analytics. You will oversee areas such as Balance Sheet items, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and beginning balances, ensuring alignment with financial statements and government expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; two years of experience may substitute for education.
• 9+ years of federal financial management or audit readiness experience.
• Experience managing management-side support for financial statement audits and KSD reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day audit support for key areas with planning, assignment, and deadlines.
• Translate IPA test plans into team work plans, KSD requests, and support packages.
• Review KSD packages for sufficiency before submission to Government and IPA.
• Oversee population preparation, reconciliations, and data analytics to identify anomalies.
• Coordinate with Government points of contact at GS-13 to GS-15 for status briefings.
• Supervise and mentor Seniors and analysts; maintain SOPs and desk guides.
