Job summary

Montcure, LLC is hiring a Senior Manager to lead financial data analytics and reconciliation for a U.S. Navy/DoD financial management organization.

You will provide deep subject-matter expertise on data quality, reconciliations across feeder systems, Navy ERP, Advana/Jupiter/Foundry, and the DDRS, and analytics for audit readiness. You will interact with Government leaders at the GS-15/SES level, advise on data-driven audit readiness strategy, IPA engagement, and remediation of findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a United States college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience deploying functional and technical SME in financial management, accounting, data analytics, or business systems for government agencies, with Navy experience.
• Experience supporting IPA audits, including preparing data populations, audit walkthroughs, and responding to auditor requests.
• Ability to brief and advise senior Government leaders (GS-15/SES) on complex data, accounting, and audit matters.
• Experience leading or supervising analysts and setting quality standards for their work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the data analytics lead and principal advisor to Navy financial management leadership on data quality, reconciliation, audit readiness, and remediation of findings.
• Plan and direct end-to-end reconciliations and data analytics.
• Direct development of dashboards and reports tracking reconciliation status, data quality metrics, and corrective action progress for leadership.
• Lead preparation of data populations and analytics for internal and IPA audit walkthroughs, and oversee responses to auditor requests.
• Lead root cause analysis of data and reconciliation errors, and review and approve corrective action items.
• Oversee identification and resolution of discrepancies in Advana/Jupiter, including data standardization and script logic enhancements.
• Direct analysis of variances and unsupported transactions, and trend analysis of duplicates and aging, with corrective actions.
• Establish standardized reconciliation templates, desk guides, and SOPs, and set quality standards for analysts.
• Ensure activities align with FASAB and Navy/DoD regulations, and deliverables meet government review windows.
