Job summary

Montcure LLC is hiring a Financial Management Audit Support Senior to assist a U.S. Navy/DoD financial management organization with responding to financial statement audits.

You will prepare populations, compile KSD, perform reconciliations, and run data analytics in key areas such as General PP&E, Inventory, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash. Reporting to a Manager, you will trace transactions, support beginning balance testing, and draft responses to auditor requests, while ensuring timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of Federal financial management, accounting, or audit readiness.
• Experience supporting federal financial statement audits and producing populations, KSD, and PBC responses.
• Experience supporting audit testing in General PP&E, Inventory, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, or beginning balances.
• Experience performing reconciliations and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute audit support tasks under the Manager, following established work plans, templates, and timelines.
• Compile and review KSD for samples against IPA attributes and identify gaps before submission.
• Trace Procure to Pay and Order to Cash transactions to source documents and system records.
• Support beginning balance testing with historical documentation and analyses.
• Perform account and subledger-to-general ledger reconciliations, research variances, and document results.
• Run data analytics to identify anomalies, duplicates, aged items, and unsupported transactions.
• Draft responses to auditor Provided-by-Client (PBC) requests and track deadlines.
• Document exceptions and root causes to support NFR responses.
