Reliability & Performance Technologies ( R&P ) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support Navy ship design efforts, including development, production, and testing phases. You will apply naval engineering expertise across hull, mechanical, electrical, C4I, and structural domains in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 15+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in Engineering, and an Active Secret Clearance with the ability to travel to shipyards and industrial sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline with 15+ years of experience.
  • Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Active Secret Clearance and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to Navy Ship Design Management across development, design, production and testing phases.
  • Apply naval engineering expertise across hull, mechanical, electrical, C4I, and structural domains.
  • Review design drawings, ship specifications and contract data deliverables for vessel acquisition.
  • Manage shipyard deliverable reviews and ensure timely, technically sound responses.
  • Analyze technical studies, reports, plans and processes related to ship design elements.
  • Support program office with reports, briefs, and responses to industry queries; maintain documentation.
