Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support NSWC Dahlgren Division, H20, focusing on the AN/SQQ-89 Advanced Baselines for surface ASW. You will provide technical oversight, drive engineering reviews, and collaborate with integrator teams to meet performance and interface requirements.

Required are a Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant combat systems experience, with U.S. citizenship and an active SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline from an accredited institution, or
Ten (10) years of relevant, demonstrated experience in combat systems, command & control systems, and simulation/stimulation systems related to Surface Ship Undersea Warfare (USW) for U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) platforms.

Responsibilities

Technical Oversight: Provide guidance to integrator developers, ensuring performance and interface requirements are met for the AN/SQQ-89 Advanced Baselines.
Engineering Analysis: Conduct comprehensive engineering reviews, including Performance Specification (P-Spec) baseline releases, Functional Description Document (FDD) baseline releases, Interface Design Specifications (IDS).
