Job summary

Solutions Development Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support NSWC Dahlgren Division, H20, focusing on AN/SQQ-89 Advanced Baselines for surface ASW capabilities. The role requires technical oversight, interface management, and expertise in C2 and combat systems for USW/FMS platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years in systems engineering, leadership experience, and the ability to work onsite at NSWC Dahlgren.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline or 10+ years in combat systems, C2, and simulation for USW/FMS.
• Minimum 10 years of professional systems engineering experience in Undersea Warfare.
• 5+ years as a team leader performing systems analysis, engineering, and mission planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for AN/SQQ-89 Advanced Baselines and ensure performance against interface requirements.
• Conduct engineering reviews and assess baseline releases (P-Spec, FDD, IDS).
• Participate in Requirements Working Group to address CRUDES performance and FMS baselines.
• Contribute to bug adjudication and analysis of issues within installed baselines.
