Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), is seeking a Strike Group Operations Watch Director and LVC Mission Coordinator to support Fleet Operations at SCTTR in Southern California. The role demands extensive Live, Virtual, and Constructive exercise expertise and senior staff-level planning for naval forces.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, Secret clearance, and a background in Navy exposure and exercise coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience.
• Master's degree with 3+ years relevant experience.
• U.S. citizen with Secret clearance.
• Naval active duty at senior officer level preferred.
• Experience in exercise planning at Fleet/COCOM level.
• Knowledge of Navy operations and training procedures.

Responsibilities

• Attend major exercise planning conferences and coordinate SCTTR support systems.
• Ensure safe planning and execution of live-fire events.
• Advise on conflicts in training requirements with feasible alternatives.
• Develop materials for mission briefings and participate in fleet exercise meetings.
• Manage SCCTR events during FRTP Advanced, Integrated, and Sustainment Phases.
• Interface with senior staff and range users during planning and execution.
• Coordinate Live and V/C-Constructive actions with SCTTR personnel.
• Organize training and certification exercises for naval, joint, and international operations.
