Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, seeks a Technical Support Specialist – Technical Lead to support FST‑O training for Navy forces at NSWC‑Corona and MOC‑EST. The role is onsite at Norfolk and requires coordinating cross‑team operations for global events.

Responsibilities include leading technical teams, refining SOPs, and ensuring seamless event execution. Candidates should have security clearance eligibility and strong communication skills across leadership

Qualifications

2 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field or
0 years experience with Master’s in related field or
High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
Linux certification or experience.
Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

Serve as NSWC‑Corona’s NITE FST‑O technical team lead / SME for FST‑O training events.
Promulgate and de-conflict resource challenges in planning, testing, and execution.
Coordinate with local/remote operators and engineers, MOC training teams, and augment personnel.
Lead technical team to align with NCTE SOPs and help develop new SOPs.
Support event testing and execution as technical lead per event Manning plans.
Maintain and enhance modeling and simulation tools in line with US/foreign military needs.
Use Confluence and JIRA to share schedules and documents, track issues.
