Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, seeks a Technical Support Specialist – Systems Engineer 3 to support NSWC Corona training and LVC events at NAS Oceana Dam Neck Annex in Virginia Beach, VA. The role requires TS clearance and involves leading NTB deployment and engineering efforts.

You will work with the NCTE MED team to ensure seamless training delivery, coordinate with cross-functional leads, and resolve complex software issues across NTB and LVC environments

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 3 years with a Master’s; or 9 years with a high school diploma.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and advanced CLI scripting and configuration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of collaboration with leadership.
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification and ability to maintain TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of LVC training events and deploy NTB components.
• Serve as Engineering Technical Lead for NCTE and NTB across multiple events.
• Install and configure NTB releases, upgrades, and patches.
• Provide engineering support for NTB setup during training events.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex software issues; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
