Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) seeks a Project Manager in Annapolis, MD, to oversee facilities O&M, public works, utilities management, and BOS services for NSA Annapolis and USNA. You will coordinate planning, staffing, budgeting, and performance, serving as liaison with government reps and vendors.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) with 10+ years in public works or BOS, including 5+ years managing large contracts valued at $10M+ per year and utilities exposure.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated NACI.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required. Engineering is preferred; however, Management with specialized experience is acceptable.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of specialized experience in public works or base operations support.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing BOS contracts of similar size and complexity, contract value ≥ $10 million per year, with at least one utilities discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage programs and operational activities to meet objectives, contract requirements, and government standards.
• Ensure successful delivery, execution, and performance of contract operations and support services.
• Plan, organize, and direct facilities O&M and utilities management to support contract requirements.
• Maintain compliance with NAVFAC standards, DoD regulations, contract requirements, and quality standards.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, subcontractors, and performance for recurring and non-recurring work.
• Prepare reports and communicate progress to government representatives and senior management.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams including SCA and CBA employees and supervise personnel decisions.
