Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL), an Akima company, is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee all QA/QC activities supporting NSA Annapolis and USNA. You will enforce compliance with the QM Plan, manage non-conformances, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a strong background in QMS development, performance metrics, and leadership, with NAVFAC MAXIMO experience and the ability to coordinate with KO, COR, and PAR. On-site work in Annapolis, MD is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have formal training in quality management and surveillance methodologies.
• Five years of experience preparing and enforcing QMS programs on BOS contracts or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and assurance methodologies.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of NAVFAC MAXIMO for work order documentation and quality data collection.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control activities to ensure production and service delivery per standards and contract requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with the QM Plan.
• Prepare and submit the QM Plan for Government review and acceptance.
• Prepare and enforce quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with KO/COR/PAR on quality surveillance activities, inspections, and audits.
• Lead and guide Quality Control personnel on-site and ensure QMS compliance.
