Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technician to support SUBMEPP initiatives and naval programs, based in Portsmouth, NH. The role involves creating maintenance documentation, performing reliability-centered maintenance analysis, and conducting technical research to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will hold an active DoD Secret clearance, be a U.S. citizen with a high school diploma or GED, and have 4 years of shipboard electrical maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Requires active/current DoD Secret Clearance and ability to maintain it.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience with shipboard electrical maintenance or related field.
• Nuclear qualified in electrical field E/RC Division.
• Experience with Navy PMS or equivalent in maintenance and procedures.
• Ability to learn new electrical, mechanical, and quality systems.
• Experience developing work packages under a quality management system.
• Proficiency with Windows PC and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret technical docs and data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for collaboration and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Create planned maintenance technical documentation (Maintenance Requirement Cards, Technical Feedback Reports, Maintenance Standards, Drawings).
• Perform reliability centered maintenance analysis.
• Conduct technical research to support customer requirements.
