Job summary

Innovative Reasoning, LLC seeks a systems engineer to provide on-site support for USMC and Navy C4I systems at the HQMC CD&I, Quantico, VA. The role focuses on analysis, interoperability, and lifecycle support across afloat and ashore networks.

You will work with acquisition professionals and stakeholders to ensure effective system requirements, architecture, and fielding plans, including wargames and briefings. On-site, full-time in a military environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 12 years of substantive, relevant experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge of naval network systems engineering, analysis, and design.
• Knowledge of Marine Corps and Navy organizational structures and functions.
• Information Assurance Management Level 1 certification is required (e.g., CAP, CNDT, Cloud+).
• Strong interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze amphibious C4ISR systems and develop requirements documentation.
• Represent USMC interests with international, DoD, Joint and Navy stakeholders to inform policy and fielding plans.
• Develop integrated amphibious C4I architectures for Marine formations and ensure interoperability.
• Assist in lifecycle sustainment and cost/benefit analyses for proposed systems.
• Provide engineering and IT services for Naval networks/CANES/ISNS and related IT networks.
• Coordinate subsystem design and integration into complete systems, including monitoring and patching.
• Participate in working groups, exercises, and wargames to represent USMC interests.
