Job summary

Innovative Reasoning, LLC seeks an on-site systems engineer to provide technical assistance for USMC/Navy C4I assets aboard amphibious ships and related platforms, based at Quantico, VA.

Responsibilities include analysis of data exchanges, requirements development, architecture for amphibious C4I, security, network integration, and liaison with DoD stakeholders to inform policy and fielding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management or related field; 12+ years of relevant experience if no degree.
• Extensive knowledge of naval network systems engineering, analysis, and design.
• Knowledge of Marine Corps and Navy organizational structures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system data exchanges and develop documentation on C4ISR system requirements.
• Represent USMC interests with DoD, Joint and Navy stakeholders to inform C4ISR policy and fielding plans.
• Develop integrated amphibious C4I architectures for Marine units and onboard vessels.
• Prepare MEU/Afloat MAGTF deployment readiness by tracking standards compatibility.
• Support acquisition lifecycle by assisting in cost/benefit analyses for proposed systems.
• Perform requirements parsing, taxonomy alignment, and capability mapping for problem solving.
