Job summary

Innovative Reasoning, LLC seeks an experienced professional to provide on-site systems engineering and technical assistance for USMC and Navy C4I assets at Quantico, VA. You will analyze data exchanges, develop system requirements, and support amphibious C4I integration across afloat and ashore environments.

The role involves coordinating with Navy and Joint stakeholders, supporting architecture development, and aiding in program sustainment.

Qualifications

• Capable of working efficiently within a military staff environment that requires coordination at the Navy & Marine Corps service and Joint Staff levels.
• Understanding of current and legacy information and communication exchange systems for ashore and afloat Marine Corps units.
• Possess knowledge of existing Naval networks & systems and their architecture.
• Certified at Information Assurance Management Level 1 (i.e., Certified Authorization Professional, Certified Network Defender, Computing Technology Industry Association: Cloud+, Security+).
• Possess excellent interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.

Responsibilities

• Draw upon C4ISR system experience and develop documentation on system data exchanges; analyze amphibious C4I/C5I requirements and design system requirements.
• Represent USMC interests with International, National, DoD, Joint and Navy stakeholders to inform C4ISR policy and fielding plans.
• Assist in creating integrated amphibious C4I architectures for Marine/MIA units with baseline control of deployed nodes.
• Prepare MEU/Afloat MAGTF deployment readiness by tracking standards compatibility and interoperability certifications.
• Work with acquisition professionals to support life cycle sustainment, cost/benefit analyses, and requirements.
• Perform document analysis and taxonomy alignment to enable solving complex problems via automated systems.
