Blue Owl is seeking a Senior National Underwriter to lead national multi-state title insurance transactions and drive underwriting excellence. You will resolve commitment issues, review recordings, and issue final policies across licensed states.

The role requires 7+ years in commercial underwriting, a JD, and strong ability to manage high-dollar, time-sensitive deals with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

7+ years experience with commercial transactions (portfolio transactions a plus).
Ability to independently manage complex, high-dollar and time sensitive transactions.
Proficiency with Softpro desired but not required.
Understanding of TDI rate rules and promulgated forms.
Juris doctorate required.

Responsabilités

Underwrite and lead transactions on a national multi-state/site and high-profile title insurance transactions.
Resolve commitment issues, title object letters, proforma issues and final policies for licensed states.
Review recordings and endorsements for licensed states; issue final policies.
Provide pricing for commitments, reports, endorsements, final policies and guarantees.
Create and issue underwriting standards and guidelines in accordance with company processes.
Review and approve all title clearance; edit commitments for licensed state deals.
Generate proformas and final policies for licensed state deals.
Serve as primary point of contact through the transaction up to closing.
Ensure recordings are recorded timely and final policies issued.
