Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. seeks an Associate Director of National Accounts to drive growth across decentralized accounts and collaborate with the Director of National Accounts and NAMs. This role can be filled anywhere in the US, preferably near an Terracon office or airport, and involves travel nationwide.

You will lead strategic initiatives, mentor NAMs, and help shape national pricing and client programs while aligning with divisions and service lines.

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related discipline with 15+ years of related experience; or 19+ years without degree.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.
• Experience in growing large decentralized National Accounts.
• Experience working across geographies and service lines within National Accounts.
• Ability to influence peers and superiors without direct reporting lines.
• Leadership development and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the vision and provide guidance to promote safety, profitability, and growth of decentralized accounts.
• Collaborate with NAMs to develop plans and achieve growth and profitability targets.
• Lead a monthly sync call with Pod Team leaders to discuss strategy and progress.
• Take the lead as a NAM on one or more decentralized accounts as required.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to NAM direct reports.
• Guide NAMs in evaluating the financial performance of national accounts, reducing WIP and AR.
• Develop and deliver client presentations as part of relationship development.
• Assist the DNA in developing national pricing for clients.
• Promote safety leadership and develop safety action plans for select accounts.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related discipline
