Job summary

impact.com is seeking a Database Administrator to oversee multiple database clusters and optimize performance for massive datasets. You will work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ClickHouse, implementing backups, monitoring, and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years as a production Database Administrator.
• Experience with MySQL/Percona Server and AWS RDS.
• 2+ years with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
• Strong shell scripting and automated backup expertise.
• Experience with HA MySQL/Percona environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support MySQL and sharded MySQL clusters.
• Manage capacity planning and query optimization.
• Develop backup/recovery procedures and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with developers on schema and data types.
• Benchmark and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Work with ProxySQL, Orchestrator, and related tools.
