impact.com is seeking a Database Administrator to maintain and optimize MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and ClickHouse clusters, including sharded environments. You will work with ProxySQL, backups, and performance tuning while collaborating with developers on schema and data models.

The role requires 3+ years as a production DBA, strong SQL scripting, and experience with large-scale data processing. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years as a production Database Administrator.
• 4+ years MySQL/Percona experience across multiple versions and cloud environments.
• 2+ years PostgreSQL and 2+ years Clickhouse experience.
• Experience with ProxySQL, Orchestrator, and Percona XtraBackup.
• 3+ years scripting in Linux, Python or Perl.
• Experience in HA MySQL/Percona environments and large data volumes.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support multiple MySQL and sharded MySQL clusters.
• Manage capacity planning and optimize queries and performance.
• Develop backup and recovery procedures.
• Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with developers on schema, tables, data types and indexes.
• Handle ProxySQL administration and database risk assessment.
