Job summary

Versys Verified Systems is seeking an experienced Medium Voltage Transformer Specialist to lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of MV transformers across the United States. The role supports electrical and functional testing, start-ups, and troubleshooting for multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has extensive MV experience, a PE or PMP is a strong plus, and readiness to travel across the US.

Qualifications

• Experience with medium-voltage equipment maintenance, testing, or capital projects.
• Knowledge of oil & gas environments and hazardous area classifications.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or PMP is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead replacements, retrofitting, and commissioning of aging MV transformers and protection relays.
• Coordinate on-site installation teams, contractors, and OEMs to minimize downtime.
• Support commissioning and construction teams during testing, start-ups, and troubleshooting.
• Perform system analysis including load-flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash studies.
• Ensure MV assets comply with IEEE, IEC, API, and HSE protocols.
