Job summary

Evolution Well Services seeks a Medium Voltage Distribution Systems Engineer to design MV distribution systems for our hydraulic fracturing fleet. You will develop and coordinate protection, perform power system studies, and ensure compliance with ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NFPA 70E and UL standards.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendors is essential for safe, reliable power delivery. The role requires hands-on design, testing support, and commissioning activities, with up to 25% travel

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year electrical engineering degree from ABET-accredited program.
• 7+ years of experience in medium voltage power systems design and engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer MV distribution systems (2.4kV, 4.16kV, 13.8kV) for EVO fleet operations.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, and arc flash studies and maintain fleet models.
• Develop protection relay coordination studies and settings for SEL relays.
