Job summary

Guitar Center Inc. in Texas seeks a sales-focused team member to drive personal sales, promote the Music & Arts lesson program, and build connections with schools and community groups.

You will cultivate customer relationships and deliver engaging presentations based on training, while ensuring excellent service and loyalty. You will also support store operations and security compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of musical instruments and written music.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
• Promote the Music & Arts lesson program.
• Create business by networking with teachers, schools, churches, and community organizations.
• Develop customer relationships and provide compelling sales presentations.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service to each customer.
• Promote customer loyalty.
• Participate in all areas of store operation including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
• Maintain store security including keys and alarm code.
• Additional duties as assigned.
