Job summary

OWN, Inc. seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to guide municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects from planning through construction across Missouri.

You'll lead design efforts, perform hydraulic modeling, help clients secure funding, and present to city officials while mentoring junior engineers. This role blends technical design with long-term client relationships in a 100% employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in municipal water/wastewater design.
• Active PE license in MO or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling and producing plans, specs, and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater design from planning to construction.
• Perform and review hydraulic modeling for water/sewer systems.
• Assist clients in securing funding through SRF, USDA Rural Development, and CDBG; prepare facility plans and applications.
• Present to city councils and utility boards as a trusted advisor to clients.
