Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Municipal Group in San Antonio, TX. You will guide planning, design, and delivery of complex municipal infrastructure projects that shape Texas communities, mentoring teams and coordinating with public-sector clients.

You will drive budgets, schedules, and quality, while pursuing client relationships and business development. PE license and 12+ years' experience required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience.
• Professional Engineering License required.
• Extensive knowledge of municipal engineering including capital project design and stormwater management.
• Ability to manage a team of 4-7 people.
• Experience with proposals, budgeting and financial management.
• Strong communication in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work plans and budgets for Department Manager approval.
• Monitor schedules and capital cost budgets to meet client goals.
• Coach and develop a team of engineering professionals for municipal clients.
• Oversee design, QA/QC, and project deliverables.
• Lead proposals, marketing support, and business development initiatives.
• Coordinate with clients on scope changes and approvals.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Attend council or planning board meetings as required.
