Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in San Antonio, TX is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to join our Municipal team. You will support planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure and public works projects for local government clients while mentoring engineers and driving growth in the municipal practice.

You will lead roadway, drainage, water, and sewer designs, coordinate with utilities, and prepare construction-ready plans and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Professional Engineer license (P.E.).
• 5+ years of experience designing road, waterlines, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities.
• Proficient in design with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Bluebeam proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations for water, sanitary, drainage, and road designs.
• Lead design tasks with EITs, designers, and technicians.
• Produce submittal ready packages with plans, specs, estimates, and applications to governmental and private entities.
• Coordinate with public and private utilities and other disciplines.
• Prepare/review OPCC and interpret survey data.
